24: Calvin Gimpelevich on the task of writing

Calvin Gimpelevich (Invasions, Instar Books) was in 4th grade when he realized how much time and effort the writer must have spent creating the book he was reading.  That realization turned the avid reader into a writer and that identity continues to guide his life.  We talk about his experience as a transgender writer, the role of literature in society, and what it means to be a storyteller.
